- It's about walking in the woods and listening to the sweet sound of a babbling brook. It's about standing on a beach watching the sun rise. It's about art & photography, conservation, science & nature. In short, this is my blog and it's about A Little Bit o' Everything!

A strange looking flower.
Yes it is kind of a strange looking flower, especially at this stage. When it fully emerges, it will be pink in color and to many folks, it resembles a woman’s slipper!
Thanks for visiting my blog. I’ll post another image when this flower is in full bloom. I hope you’ll return then to see!
I’ll be anxious to see that one in bloom. It’s one we don’t have here.
I have never had the extreame pleasure of seeing this little flower! I’ve heard rumors they exist I really hope you show it in bloom!
I keep careful watch over “my” Lady Slipper, it’s the “only” one I’ve found this year!!! They need lots of water and we had that earlier in the season but now it has become very, very dry.
So, yes, I definitely plan on photographing the Lady Slipper in full bloom. (Just keep your fingers crossed that I can keep someone from “snatching” it!)
